April at work in 2009.
Art does not need expensive tools and costly mediums. It shouldnt even aim to be good. Just tell me a story through imagery and color and you show me brilliance. Use whatever you have to conjour up delightful imagination and I will pause my buzzing existence and step into your perception of expressed truth. Stop trying to impress the world and impress upon the world a reminder. This makes good art to me. Make me think. Make me remember.
All and only to open our eyes to Him. Everything else is replicating imitation.
So writes my lovely friend April, one of the most (if not, the most) talented artists I know. I needed to read this today finish up my sign language “Love” pictures.
